An unframed original linoprint based on the Ashmore Filly Loo.
Every year on the Friday closest to the summer solstice, in the beautiful village of Ashmore in Dorset, people gather round the village pond. As the evening light fades torches can be seen approaching as the Bromley Horn Dance is performed by local morris dancers.
It's an incredibly atmospheric experience, and I highly recommend going if you can - it's a beautiful way to mark the longest day and changing of the seasons.
Size of paper approx - 13.25" x 13"

I copy my original drawing onto lino, and carve out the image. I hand print with oil based ink onto a beautiful handmade paper which has lots of flecks and texture, with a slightly translucent quality.
Due to fully hand produced nature of my work each print will be slightly different, and therefore unique
